Triton Swim Team (BLUE) – Full-time Team Head Coach 3/11/18

Triton Swim Team is looking for a Head Coach. Triton is finishing up its 3rd season and has seen rapid growth and has enjoyed great team success. Triton is looking for an energetic knowledgeable coach to lead the team into the next phase. The program is run through Marple Newtown Recreation and the coach is a contract of MN Recreation. Triton Swim Team (BLUE) – Part-time Team Mini Team  3/11/18

Triton Swim Team is looking for a Mini Team Coach . We are looking for a coach that primarily will focus on the mini team and stroke development. The coach will work 4 to 10 hours a week. The right coach will have experience with 8 & under swimmer and will bring energy and excitement to the team. Triton currently have 25% of its members in the 8 & under age group. Wissahickon Community Aquatic Club (WCAC) – Full-time Team Director/Head Coach 3/11/18

Wissahickon Community Aquatic Club (“WCAC”), a parent run swim and dive program, has just moved into a new state of the art natatorium complex at the Wissahickon High School in Ambler, PA.  The club is seeking an experienced, committed and motivated Head Coach who can identify goals and put in place plans to grow the various WCAC programs.  WCAC’s current membership is engaged in the community based swim and dive team, comprised of 200+ swimmers and divers.  The boys and girls teams participate in the Suburban Aquatic League during the winter.  The club is also a member of USA Swimming.  The USA Swimming program is a year round program that has grown each year.  The current US team is close to 50 members.

This position is a year round position, responsible for all levels of the WCAC aquatics program.  Planning, organization and communication skills will be key to the success of this Head Coach role.  More specific roles and responsibilities can be provided.

Interested applicants should be a USA certified coach with a minimum of 4 years coaching experience, ASCA level is a plus.  An understanding of pool/facilities operations, and experience with the Team Unify platform is preferred.

Compensation is negotiable, based upon experience.

Blue Eagle Swim Team (BLUE) – Full-time Team Director/Head Coac1/3/18

Reporting directly to the parent-run Board of Directors, this position is responsible for the development and implementation of training programs for all age group levels and the supervision of BLUE coaches while working towards the achievement of the organization’s goals and mission.

START DATE: Flexible, Preferably April 2018 or August 2018.

TEAM DESCRIPTION: BLUE is a USA-S Level 1 Recognition swim team with 155+ members. BLUE swimmers range from novice to the elite level. BLUE operates primarily out of the Nazareth Area Middle School Natatorium (8 lanes, 25 yards) during short course months and in various outdoor pools during the long course season. For the 2016-2017 Short Course season BLUE was the most improved team in Middle Atlantic Swimming and we are looking for a Team Director to continue this success. Our program features an active and engaged group of parents dedicated to the team’s success.

COMPENSATION: Competitive Salary Based on Credentials and Experience. Medical, Dental and Vision Plans Offered. Bonus/Commission Opportunities Available to Increase Salary.

Friends Select Aquatics (FSA) – Part-time Lead Age Group  Coach 12/17/17

Friends Select Aquatics, located in Center City Philadelphia, is seeking applications for a lead group coach, primarily working with swimmers 12 years old and younger. Previous coaching experience required. This position would require working closely with the Head Coach to do season planning and workout writing for the group. This coach will attend all practices and meets the group competes in, and assist in administrative duties. Applicants will need to have current USA Swimming certifications. Hershey Aquatic Club (HAC) – Part-time Assistant  Coach 11/7/17

The Hershey Aquatic Club (HAC) is a highly respected and competitive 170+ member  USA Swimming Level 2 competitive swim program, located in Hershey, Pennsylvania. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Swim Coach. HAC primarily competes in USA Swimming in Middle Atlantic swim meets in addition to local league meets in Central Pennsylvania. HAC also participates in USA Swimming meets at the Olympic Trials, Nationals, Junior Nationals, Sectionals, Zones and Junior Olympics levels.  The interested applicants must have at least two (2) years of prior swim coaching experience, willingness to coach under the philosophy of the HAC head coach, strong motivational and communication skills, and the desire to implement new coaching techniques acquired via coaching education.

This part-time position is expected to start in the Spring of 2018. Applicants would be supervising elementary and/or middle school age swimmers, and must be available in the fall/winter between the hours of 5:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and in the summer between the hours of 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Weekend availability (average of 1-2 monthly) to coach meets is also required. Some weekend travel to swim meets may be required. The applicants must be certified, or be willing to obtain certifications, in CPR, First Aid (Safety Training for Swim Coaches), and be a USA/ASCA Coaching Member.
