Emmaus Aquatic Club
(EMAC) is a 25-year old, established USA Swimming Club, located
in the Lehigh Valley region of Eastern PA. We have an immediate
opening for an Age-Group Coach who will have year-round
responsibility for our Stinger and Pre-Senior Age Groups and
summer responsibility for our Worker Bee Group. Combined, these
groups total over 40 swimmers. Practices are from 6:00PM-8:00
PM Monday-Friday, and 10:00AM-12:00PM on Saturdays until
mid-June. As of mid-June, practice time will shift to
8:00AM-10:00AM, Monday-Saturday for the remainder of the summer.
The position is expected to require up to 20 hours per week and
will require overnight travel to three long course meets during
this summer. USA Swimming certification is required. Pay rate
will be commensurate with experience. For a complete description

Head
Assistant Coach Needed

Malvern Swimming Association,
located in the suburbs of Philadelphia, is accepting resumes for
a full time position as Head Assistant Coach. The successful
candidate should be a great motivator and have a good rapport
with young people. She or he must be a good communicator with a
working knowledge of stroke technique and training physiology.
The coach will work as part of the coaching team within the
team’s philosophy. Preference will be given to candidates with
ASCA coaching certification, at least one year of experience and
have USS coach certification. The club, located on the
beautiful grounds of Malvern Prep School, consists of 150-180
age and senior swimmers. There is also a swim school and clinic
program. Facilities include a new state of the art
multi-purpose eight lane 25 yard pool and a new strength
center. The club also has access to a six lane, 50 meter pool
for the summer season. The coach’s responsibilities with
the club will include working with senior and age group levels
swimmers and helping with the clinic program. Other
opportunities could include: the Malvern Prep School’s water
polo & swim team, swim school and developing new programs.
Salary is negotiable, based on experience and certification
levels. The hired coach will also be eligible for benefits.
The starting date will be a mutual agreement but no later than
the Fall of 2008. Applicant screening will begin immediately.
